Besides being annoying, these emails may introduce viruses and spyware into your computer. Though There are several ways to fight spam, this is a look at some of the best ways to do this.

1. Look for warning signs. There are three simple ways to try to find out if a program is email spam.
Look at the name of "person."When looking at your email, look closely at the person or robot "name." Most spam is called with a name and a last name (example: Jorge Lopez, Jessica Alvarez.) Do you recognize the name? If not, it's probably spam. remember that most users use nicknames messages.
Look at the time that the E-mail has been sent. Most spam is sent between 12 am and 4:00 a.m.
Look at the size of the file. almost all spam is 3 KB. Most spam contains a small phrase like "Hey, I'm Victoria, date I want ", and include a link to a web page. At the end of the link, there will be a mixture of random letters. Do not click the link.
If you've done all three and you are still unsure, click in the message. When you click on the message will not hurt anything, but if there is a link, do not click on it.

2. Stop posting your email address in a public forum or website. was estimated that 95% of all spam is because a person publicly disclose their e-mail address. There are many robots and scripts that automatically scan websites for email addresses.Besides, sometimes humans actually grab e-mails of websites to use them for sign-up offers to get free stuff (iPods, Ringtones, televisions, etc..)

If you must provide contact information, try writing it in creative ways, such as (I [at] yahoo [dot] com.) There are several ways to show your email address to make it hard for spam bots to harvest. Such methods include image using photographs of your email or use JavaScript to dynamically build your email screen.

3. Avoid certain sites and software programs. These include:

Popular Newsgroups. robots often look in the address lists.
BonzaiBuddy Software as programs or similar. immediately if these companies do not sell your information to a spam company, which are subsidiaries of spam companies themselves and the software is spyware.
chat rooms like Yahoo Chat or IRC. spammers or spambots are actively used in popular chat rooms like AOL and Yahoo chats.

4. Use blocking spam tools. Most webmail providers offered, or you can download one.

Use the "This is spam" if your email provider has one. This sends the email to your spam control people who can take care of business and improve their anti-spam filters.
If you have a Yahoo! account, you can use the method of Yahoo! 's disposable addresses.
Use Spam Gourmet, or others like him, with any account email
If you are using MS Outlook, try installing a spam filter plugin, for example SpamAid or SpamReader
Use the block list and add the spammer's domain name. (However, this may not be as effective, as the Spammers often use temporary addresses).
limit incoming mail to the address book and have all the others put on a "trash" folder, you can quickly browse and cleaned regularly.

5. Report spam. Prior to eliminate spam, please send your spam to: spam@uce.gov since this is the Spam box for FTC (Federal Trade Commission). mail sent to this box is investigated. If indeed spam, the original sender can charge $ 500 per e-mail.receiving more mail for different users, but spammers itself, the more likely it is to be investigated.

6. Use disposable addresses to identify and get rid of spam sources. Having a main account.

Make a separate account for different purposes (one for friends, one of the entertainment sites, one for your financial websites, etc..)
Set all these addresses to send mail to your main account so you do not have to check multiple accounts.
If you start receiving spam through one of your alternates, you can locate one of your disposable addresses and simply delete that account.
Tracking groups of recipients return the most spam and be more selective.

7. Avoid clicking on links in Wiki trials. A current spam attack involves "spammers trial" where spammers insert random links to sites related to the essay writing services.Another spam attack is spam bots related random page creation with songs like UGG boots. These pages also include links to other subjects randomly, whether they are or not related to the topic or even placed so grammatically consistent.
